For those of you who were blessed/unfortunate enough to have insomnia in the states, Sony revealed their long-rumored touch-screen interfacing mobile platforms now known as the S1 and S2 Honeycombs.  The tablets, which look suspiciously a lot like the iPad and Nintendo DS respectively, boast a new level of mobile connectivity and networking, as well as a possible source for on-the-go entertainment.  What implications does this mean for the gaming world?  PSN connectivity perhaps?  The ability to play PSP Mobile “Minis” on the go?  This remains to be seen.  But the tablets already boast the ability to run Crash Bandicoot, so I suppose that’s a start.
