My internet was acting up recently, and I was certain it was the router. My ping was testing at nearly 3000ms! After numerous attempts to get it working, I remembered I installed League of Legends the other day, about the same time the problems started. As a long shot, I decided to Google up to see if it could have any effect on my internet. That was how I discovered PMB…

Here is what I don’t get: arguably the most popular game in the world installs this crapware without consent, and no one has been sued yet? Most times junk like this asks your permission before installing, this does it covertly, with minimal mention in the EULA. We gamers put up with a lot of crap, but this really crosses the line. I may see if I can find a lawyer who is interested in taking this on…

Well, on the reverse side, some of them still force you to use the Start Button.

For example, the PS2 release of Fate/Unlimited Codes refuses to take any button other than the Start Button for the “Press Start” screen.

It doesn’t address the why they still do it (though this is a port of an arcade fighting game) though…

Rockstar is usually pretty reliable on making sequels. The only reason it takes so long to make new releases is because they work on multiple games at a time.

Thank you for shedding light on our plight Tristan! Something completely wrong happened here and it’s mainly in Digital River’s lap.

Namco should hero up and make more or fulfill the cancelled orders somehow. It’s not like the 1/17 preorders or even the earlier periods preorders should’ve been canned like that.

Digital River told people if you get in within the first 2 hours of the overselling, you’re fine, then later they said it sold out in less than a minute, then a hoard of people got in orders and confirmations immediately on 1/23 and 1/24, and some weren’t even charged for their copies!
