What has to be one of the most under-appreciated videogames of all time will finally be given a second chance to show the world just how good it is.

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD will be available on PSN December 27th with not only a fresh coat of high definition paint but will also include trophy support, new difficulty modes and improvements to both framerate and audio quality. The game will also receive 3D and Playstation Move support in the coming months.

PC users waiting for “Stranger’s Wrath 2.0” will have to continue to wait slightly longer, as only a release window of Q1 2012 has been announced so far.

Finally, those who were wondering just how much this remaster will cost on PSN can wonder no more, the game will be available for a price of $14.99 in the US, which most likely means a price of about £9.99 in the UK. It may be nearly 7 years old but it’s still a bargain as far as I’m concered.

Will this be your first time playing the game or are you just anxious to experience it all over again in HD glory? Let us know in the comments section below.
