PSN Store Is Once Again Open For Business

Once upon a time, Playstation 3 owners lived a happy life of killing each other online and downloading exclusive content. Then one day an evil band of hackers invaded the land, stealing everyones personal information (allegedly). After a month of regrouping and planning, the brave samurai of the East came to the rescue and yadda yadda yadda…

Yes folks, after just over a month of rebuilding the wreckage caused by the anonymous hacking it looks like PSN has resumed full service. Last week users were given the ability to once again play their games online after matchmaking was restored, we now have confirmation that the PSN Store is now once again operational.

Included with the return is the “Welcome Back” package which gives the user the choice of downloading two PS3 games out of a choice of five as well as two PSP games our of a choice of four, absolutely free (games vary by region). This writer however is mostly looking forward to finally redeeming his code for the inFAMOUS 2 beta which was scheduled to go up just a few days after the service went down.

Which games will you be picking up from this package? Or do you feel let-down that you already own these games? Sound off in the comment section below.
