It was touch and go for a while, Bioware recently came out and said they were “trying” for a 2011 release date and try they did. The highly anticipated MMO game The Old Republic is now set for release on December 22nd, 2011, now you have a Christmas gift for that special Jedi in your life.
According to Eurogamer [2], BioWare co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk came on stage to make the announcement along with detailing the price, saying that SWTOR’s subscription prices will differ depending on the amount of months you purchase. One month’s subscription will cost $14.99, three months will set you back $41.97 (or $13.99 per month), while six months will cost $77.94 (or $12.99 per month).
